We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of mobile platforms (iOS and Android) through the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks. You will collaborate across QA, Development, and Product teams to accelerate releases and support impactful features that help reduce global carbon emissions through smarter, energy-efficient homes.

Location: Must reside and have work authorization in Latin America.
Availability: Must be available to work with significant overlap with Mountain Standard Time (MST).
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable test automation frameworks
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Appium, TestMo, and Postman
- Strong proficiency in Python for test automation; experience with JavaScript or other languages is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to debug and troubleshoot issues across mobile platforms and testing environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket
- Experience working with Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1 preferred, strong B2 may be considered)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile (iOS and Android) platforms
- Assist with API test automation and integration validation
- Enhance existing test frameworks to increase efficiency, reliability, and coverage
- Work closely with development, QA, and PM teams to ensure high-quality releases
- Review product requirements and participate in design reviews for testability
- Troubleshoot test failures in multiple environments, including staging and production
- Collaborate with manual QA engineers to transition test cases into automation
